An excavator crashed into a bridge on the D11. The motorway was closed for over two hours
On Wednesday afternoon, the D11 motorway on the 31st kilometre in the direction of Hradec Králové was blocked by a digger accident that happened during construction work. The excavator forgot to lower his arm and crashed it into the bridge. He suffered minor injuries. The bridge and the section of the motorway between kilometres 25 and 35 were impassable.Traffic in the direction of Prague was fully restored at around 3pm, while in the opposite direction cars started to drive in one lane, said Vlasta Suchánková, spokeswoman for the Central Bohemian police.
