Dozens of wetlands for amphibians were built in the Slovak Paradise, one place was searched by NAKA in search of a murder victim
We were at a place near Hrabušice, where the state conservationists have built a system of wetlands for amphibians. They cannot reproduce without water and are negatively affected by climate change. The administration of the Slovak Paradise National Park has built dozens of small ponds in which amphibians can lay their eggs in the spring, as part of an EU-funded project. Their offspring absolutely need water to develop.
