Even the Russians didn’t believe the bizarre Lada catalogue
Colour pictures, decent paper quality, but sometimes very bizarre translations. This is what the 1978 Czechoslovak prospectus of Lady 2106 published by Avtoexport looked like. Nine years later, it was obvious that times had moved on. There was no time for colourful cars, and bizarre connections were replaced by stark facts. Lada – in Russian, it means COVERED.
