Ukraine’s Interior Ministry said on Wednesday that the number of victims of the attack was 17, but police in the Donetsk region said on Thursday that the number was 16. Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said one of the victims was a paramedic. “When we conducted a thorough visual inspection of the remains of the bodies, we found that they belong to 16 people. Almost all of them have already been identified, relatives have been found, DNA has been taken from the deceased and their relatives,” police spokeswoman Oleksandra Havrylkova said.
