Staff reshuffle at important state enterprise comes at the time of tender for light attack vehicles
After Defence Minister Jana Černochová surprisingly dismissed the director of the Military Technical Institute (VTU), Petr Novotný, at the end of last year, which raised eyebrows both in the institute and in the security community, this important state enterprise should receive new leadership at the beginning of February. According to several sources of the daily E15, the new boss should be the current director of another state-owned company, LOM Praha Trade, Jiří Kašpárek. The Military Technical Institute plays a key role in the rearmament of the Czech army, so its decision-making is in the crosshairs of the defence business.
