Finally the end of the big charade? It seems so. Kamil Bartosek, aka Kazma, dropped the promised million dollars from the helicopter. Only a fraction of the registered spectators showed up with bags and backpacks. There hasn’t been a sadder finale since the end of The Czech Dream, which showed the crowd psychosis of a nation that only needs a new department store with irrational launch discounts to be happy. Now a few hundred (Kazma says thousands) of people have run into a field near Lysá nad Labem to stuff a few dollar bills into plastic bags. A truly “spectacular” ending to ONEMANSHOW: The Movie, which first shattered attendance records in theaters, only to experience extremely high drops in interest and then Kazma’s spasmodically devised Plan B, which perhaps couldn’t have been more outrageous.
