The head of TANAP quit his post after he tamed a protected wolf
Peter Olexa has resigned from the post of Director of the Tatra National Park Administration (TANAP). On Thursday evening the Department of Environment informed about it. The head of the department did so after the media coverage of the alleged guilty plea in the case of poaching offence. “During the selection procedure for the position of the director of the TANAP Administration, Peter Olexa submitted a current extract from the criminal record, which did not contain any record, thus fulfilling the condition of integrity,” the ministry said.
