The proposed resolution by Czech governing parties regarding the upcoming Sudeten German Convention is facing criticism from Bavaria. Klaus Holetschek, chairman of the CSU parliamentary group in the Bavarian state parliament, described it as regrettable and warned that it sends a negative signal for Czech-German relations. Lawmaker Gerhard Hopp subsequently called on Czech MPs to reject the proposal.
