Czechs want to import Slovak products made from Russian oil, on the other hand they mock Slovaks because of Russia
Czech Republic can continue to import products from Russian oil, EU exemption extended
The previous exemption from sanctions against Russia, which allowed the Bratislava-based Slovnaft refinery to export products made from Russian crude oil to the Czech Republic, expired on 5 December. The European Union extended the exemption for imports of Russian crude oil products into the Czech Republic until 5 December 2024, but only in volumes comparable to the last five years. If alternatives become available before that date, the EU Council has promised to end the derogation. The Council made the announcement as part of the approval of the twelfth package of anti-Russian sanctions.
