MP Kyselica wants to increase the allowances of police officials. Up to 200 percent of the salary of the chief of police
Police unionists disagree with the proposal. “This is an absolute tragedy. It is misguided when the management bonus is the most significant part of the salary,” said Roman Laco, vice-president of the police union. Police officials could see their management allowances rise dramatically as early as May. This is proposed by OľaNO deputy Lukáš Kyselica. Together with his colleague Jana Majorova Garstkova, he has submitted an amendment to the parliament, according to which, for example, in the case of the head of the police or the head of the police inspection, the amount of the management bonus could range from 30 to 200 percent.
