Elite prosecutor Ladislav Letko is allegedly illegally doing business
Ladislav Letko, a prosecutor of serious economic crime from the High State Prosecutor’s Office in Prague, is a member of the boards of two private companies, according to an extract from the Commercial Register. Prosecutors are prohibited by law from doing business. However, Ladislav Letko claims that he had resigned from his position at the private Moravian Bohemian Business Exchange earlier and that his appearance on the company’s list was the fault of a slow court. However, Miroslava Sedláčková, a spokeswoman for the Regional Court in Brno, denied the court’s responsibility on Nova television.
