The bear should have attacked the forester in a beech stand in the Ostrava valley. Near the village of Nedožery-Brezany near Prievidza, a female bear attacked a forester who had cubs. The incident took place near the bear’s den. This follows from the inspection of the locality, which was carried out on Friday by members of the Brown Bear Intervention Team of the Slovak State Nature Conservation Agency. TASR was informed by the press department of the SOP.
