Out of 35,000, half a million in foreclosures. The court speaks of behavior bordering on usury, ordered to return the money
670 thousand. Roughly the same number of people are affected by foreclosures in the Czech Republic. Until recently, this was also the case of Mrs Mariya, who got into trouble because of a loan to pay for her father’s treatment and debts. 35,000 crowns led to a debt of almost half a million crowns due to interest and late fees. However, the case turned out well for Ms Mariya. She not only managed to stop the foreclosure, but with the help of a lawyer, she also recovered most of the foreclosed money before Christmas.
