The GIBS is prosecuting 12 people for buying gun licences. A former police officer issued them without testing

Police officers in at least 20 cases allowed applicants to obtain firearms licenses in exchange for bribes The General Inspectorate of Security Forces (GIBS) is prosecuting a total of 12 people for illegally issuing firearms licenses. It is prosecuting four police officers, one former police officer and seven civilians, the inspectorate said on its website on Thursday.
