See what the inside of the Máj department store will look like
One of the most discussed reconstructions in Prague will open next Monday. This is what the interior of the Máj department store will look like. The department store on the corner of Národní Avenue and Spálená Street was built in 1972-1975 according to the winning competition design by John Eisler, Miroslav Masák and Martin Rajniš. The work of the architects from the Liberec studio Sial, realized by the Swedish firms SIAB and ABV Stockholm, attracted a lot of attention from the Western professional media.
