Do you want a four-year-old Samsung or a five-year-old iPhone? You can find a lot of things at retailers that shouldn’t be available anymore, but are left in stock. We have found a few examples. Maybe it’s happened to you. You’re looking for a new phone at a retailer or in a comparison shop, and the same phone you just decided is out of date and needs to be replaced pops up. Someone who’s been very used to their old partner might even be pleased to have the opportunity to get a new one. However, in many cases, this could be a bad choice.
Comment: in the Czech Republic it is practically impossible to find out the date of manufacture of any offered electrical appliance or the model year. Appliance stores commonly sell one or two year old televisions or computers for the price of a new model.
