Stop it, councillors urge their boss after UK student harassment scandal
The Council of the Institute for Contemporary History (ÚSD) of the Czech Academy of Sciences and its Supervisory Board are calling on Miroslav Vaňek to resign. The reason is suspected harassment of female students at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University, where Vaněk teaches. Pavel Mücke, the deputy director and a teacher at the university, has already resigned for the same reason. Both have previously stated that they feel innocent.
