Czech Republic still lags behind EU average, Corruption Perceptions Index shows
“The Czech Republic’s position in the new results of the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) confirms the long-term stagnation and unwillingness of the political representation to systematically address and consistently combat corruption. We are still far below the EU average (64 points) and the Baltic States, especially Estonia (76 points), are starting to ‘run away’ from us,” explains Jan Spáčil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Transparency International Czech Republic (TI CR).
