Lecturers offered credits for sex, Charles University tackles harassment of female students
The Council of the Institute for Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences has said it is investigating suspicions of improper conduct by the institute’s director, Miroslav Vaňek, and his deputy, Pavel Mücke. The two were alleged to have harassed female students at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University (Charles University), where a commission has been set up to recommend further action following a decision by Rector Milena Králíčková. Mücke has already submitted his resignation to the institute’s management.
