Bendigo was sprinkled with flour at the Nightingales. A racially motivated attack is being investigated by detectives
Friday’s Czech Nightingale gala evening was marred by a racist attack. An unidentified man threw a bag of flour at Romani singer Jan Bendig. At the same time he shouted at him, “Gypsy!” Prague police spokesperson Richard Hrdina told iROZHLAS.cz. Bendig noted that he is very sorry about the incident. “Moments after the incident, I was completely broken,” he admitted.
