Sodomka learned to manufacture trolleybuses; the Vysoké Mýto museum describes the hardships of the German occupation and resistance activities

Museum Vysoké Mýto

During the Second World War, a large part of the production consisted of buses and various special bodies, for example for mobile workshops or ambulances and surgical vehicles. In 1939, several Praga NDO city buses, a series of buses on MAN chassis and luxury coaches on Škoda 606 and Tatra 24/58 chassis were produced. At the beginning of the 1940s, a series of 14 MAN trolleybuses with electrical equipment were built by Siemens for Bratislava according to German documentation. Between 1942 and 1944 the company produced many buses on Büssing, MAN, Praga RN or Saurer chassis. The buses were also accompanied by Sodomka RPA and PRK 6 trailers.
