The Volkswagen Group systematically refunds money to owners for EGR failures after “fixing” emissions.
The sheer number of Audi, Seat, Skoda and VW owners who have experienced EGR valve failure after repair proves that this is NOT a coincidence as claimed. The Volkswagen Group has unwittingly admitted that their repair is the main cause of these failures. We have been contacted by three owners (so far) who have experienced the same EGR failure after the “repair”. They have told us that the costly EGR replacement was provided by the manufacturer as a “goodwill” gesture for free/at a large discount. This very generous step would not have been offered if VAG was not absolutely certain that the repair was the cause of the increasing number of EGR failures in their cars.
