Aero Vodochody had a record turnover. It is driven by foreign orders. Where are its aircraft everywhere?
The growth in turnover was mainly due to deliveries of L-39 Skyfox aircraft to the state-owned company LOM Praha and to the Hungarian and Vietnamese air forces. Czech aircraft manufacturer Aero Vodochody had a turnover of over CZK 6 billion last year, up by CZK 1.75 billion year-on-year. According to Aero spokeswoman Radka Černá, this is the best result in the company’s modern history. Aero Vodochody’s net profit last year reached CZK 102 million. The year before, the company was in the red. The growth in turnover was mainly due to deliveries of the L-39 Skyfox aircraft to the state-owned company LOM Praha and to the Hungarian and Vietnamese air forces. “The L-39 Skyfox program accounted for 63 percent of all sales,” said Aero spokeswoman Radka Černá.
