History of Slovakia (not only) to fourth grade homeland science
Fourth-graders encounter an overview of Slovak history in about eight lessons of history of Slovakia squeezed into one month. Eight forty-five-minute lessons are too little for a journey through time from prehistoric times to the present. They are just enough for memorization. In homeschooling, however, we can tailor the lesson pool to the needs and interests of the children. We can engage them. We can give them an experience from each period linked to an emotion. All we have to do is prepare well and children can experience our history for themselves.
