Maybe we’ll run out of cash. Popular title of small Czech investors warns it may not survive
Small investors, together with a J&T Group fund, may own over a fifth of the British chemical company Venator Materials. We are beginning to write another investment story, Michal Šnobr announced in the middle of last year the acquisition of more than nine percent of the shares of the British company Venator Materials. The well-known investor made the purchase together with the private equity fund J&T MS 1 Patrik Tkáč & spol. They gradually increased their stake. The J&T investors were subsequently joined by an army of small Czech investors who bought shares in the British chemical company for tens of millions of crowns. But now it turns out that the story may have a tragic ending. The company’s shares have known only one direction since then – down. And the demise of a company popular with Czech investors is not out of the question.
