An unflattering location for Ruzyne. Ranking places it among the worst airports
Prague’s Václav Havel Airport narrowly missed a place in the last ten airports evaluated. The ranking of the German company AirHelp, which deals with the recovery of compensation for delayed flights, gave Ruzyně Airport 141st place out of 151 airports. European airports generally did not fare as well in the ratings, which consisted of delays, the quality of restaurants and shops, and the tourist experience. Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, fared best, according to AirHelp. Recife in Brazil was silver and Tokyo Narita International Airport came third. Only one European airport made the top 20 – Barajas Airport in Madrid, Spain, came in twelfth.
