Prague taxi driver given probation and banned from driving, his car killed Chilean student
The District Court for Prague 6 has imposed a two-year suspended sentence and a five-year driving ban on Josef Kasl, who is nearly 75 years old. In January this year, the taxi driver failed to apply the handbrake to his car, which he left standing on the pavement, and went to the shop. The car pinned a 23-year-old student from Chile against the window of the glass shop, who succumbed to her injuries on the spot.
