The army lacks backup, but the word war has a bad ring to it. What do we do about it? Scandinavia offers one solution
For twenty years the word war was taboo in the Czech Republic and carried with it an unpleasant layer of the past. Things are probably changing, but the desire to say a resounding “no” when it is uttered is especially awakening in the political representation. But this does not solve the problem of inadequate army reserves, without which the most heavily armed army will not be able to withstand combat. We describe the new mission embarked upon by Chief of the General Staff Karel Rehka.
