There are no sockets and wifi on the train, complains a teacher to the railways and the minister. In vain
For years, passengers have been pointing out that ČD is not fulfilling its binding contract with the Ministry of Transport, as some long-distance trains lack electrical sockets or wifi connections. The Minister has apologised to him, but he continues to wait in vain for a remedy. Jan Viktorin, a university teacher, regularly travels by train between Breclav and Ostrava. During the nearly two-hour journey, he often needs to work on his laptop. However, even on long-distance international connections of the EuroCity category, he often cannot find electrical sockets or wifi connections, despite the fact that ČD guarantees this in a binding contract with the Ministry of Transport.
