Missing billions and tens of thousands of iPhones: a mammoth tunnel in Unicorn’s e-shop will be solved by the anti-mafia police
Mammoth was driven into insolvency by strange deals involving tens of thousands of iPhones that may have ended up on the Russian market. The case of the Unicorn e-shop collapse by entrepreneur Vladimír Kovář has all the hallmarks of a pre-arranged fraud, the size of which astonishes experts and recalls the wild beginnings of domestic capitalism in the 1990s. Perhaps as many as 100,000 iPhones and other Apple products disappeared through companies set up by the former Unicorn manager. The operator T-Mobile and a leasing company from the J&T group currently have debts of about CZK 2 billion against the e-shop, but according to HN sources, this amount will grow significantly over time.
