Big toilet case. San Francisco is planning a $30 million public toilet
American San Francisco is dealing with an unusual case. The Noe Valley neighborhood is waiting in vain for a public toilet to be built. It is to cost taxpayers nearly thirty million crowns. Moreover, the construction was supposed to take at least three years. The plaza in San Francisco’s Noe Valley neighborhood looks like an oasis of calm. It is surrounded by restaurants and cafés, and families with children stroll the streets in peace. But one thing is missing. There are no public toilets. The city council approved the budget for the construction 15 months ago. But the seemingly modest building still doesn’t even have a foundation.
