State-owned company keeps manager who caused it 1.6 million in damages
The State Railway Administration will continue to employ the manager who has been convicted for the damage he caused to the company. It has also left him with a company car and his own office. All he has to do, they say, is not make money decisions. Luděk Eichler, the convicted manager of the Railway Administration, was convicted of causing more than CZK 1.6 million in damages to the state-owned company, but he will not lose his job there.
