Czech Republic can be a European power in chip production, says Síkela
Minister of Industry Jozef Síkela (STAN) will continue his efforts to build a gigafactory and expand chip production. According to him, the Czech Republic can become a superpower in their production. However, the ministry is also facing the end of coal and other challenges. The domestic industry and energy sector faces a number of challenges. The Czech Republic is addressing alternatives to financing the Stork II gas pipeline and the TAL oil pipeline, which were cut from the National Recovery Plan because of their fossil fuel nature, as well as investing in new sources to replace coal-fired power and heat generation.
