Fake Islamists rampaged through the centre of Prague. As part of a demonstration by opponents of Islam, participants dressed up as members of the Islamic State, drove into Old Town Square in a jeep, waved the flag of the Islamic State and fired blanks. Panic broke out in the square, with people hiding in buildings in fear. The police put an end to the action. “As part of the spectacle that took place during this gathering, props in the form of replica weapons were used. The participants apparently played effects and fired the weapons either with blanks or they were airsoft guns. The performance caused panic in the area and we, in cooperation with an official of the Prague City Hall, stopped the production,” police spokesman Tomáš Hulan said.
