Petrol and diesel have become more expensive. It will be worse, says analyst
Fuel in the Czech Republic has become more expensive in the last week. The average price of petrol rose by 84 cents to CZK 37.83 per litre, the highest in almost eight weeks. Diesel has risen by 26 cents to CZK 37.67 per litre since last Wednesday. The last time diesel was more expensive was almost four weeks ago. This is according to data from CCS, a company that monitors fuel prices. According to analysts, the price rise is likely to continue in the coming weeks. According to Purple Trading analyst Petr Lajsk, the reasons for the rise in fuel prices are mainly the rise in oil prices on the market and also wholesale prices on the stock exchange at the beginning of the year.
