Medicines have become the most expensive in Europe. The Ministry does not believe
According to a study by the Swedish Medicines Institute TLV, the Czech Republic is the most expensive country after Switzerland, and for example, compared to Sweden, medicines are sold at three times the price. Ten years ago, original medicines were the fifteenth most expensive in the Czech Republic, while generic medicines were the seventh most expensive. This means that since 2014, the local balance has deteriorated the most of the twenty countries surveyed, alongside Spain. The surveys show that the Czech Republic is still one of the developing countries when it comes to medicines. Generics are sold at a higher price level than in more developed countries.
