Export in doubt. Instead of exporting to Russia, the Czech Republic started exporting to its neighbours
It used to take ten years to export that many cars to Kyrgyzstan. Since the outbreak of war in Ukraine, Czech companies can do it in a month. This remarkable increase in exports is an example that goods in demand find their way to Russia mainly through neighbouring countries. Even products that are not directly blocked by EU sanctions are difficult to export from Europe to a country at war after the invasion of Ukraine.
