Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Petr Angyalossy used rape jokes in his presentation at a seminar on professional ethics for judges. Angyalossy has been criticised for this by some lawyers or experts on sexualised violence. According to the Chief Justice, the jokes were meant to highlight the absurd arguments of the defendants in the courtroom. He offered an apology to people who felt offended by the jokes.
