The ministry will probably get the right to break bank secrecy because of the OLAF investigation
The Treasury Department is likely to be given the right to break bank secrecy when cooperating with an investigation by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). The Senate gave it a clean bill of health today. It complied with the recommendation of the upper house’s economic committee. On the other hand, it did not listen to the objections that had led the Constitutional Law Committee to support the law and the related amendment.
