For over two hundred years, the ancestors diverted the water away to make it easier for them to farm. The result is a landscape where everything flows. It will take time to return the situation to the optimum, says Tomas Urban, director of the Water Research Institute. If the Czech Republic is not to go thirsty, the landscape must become like itself again.
