Slovakia has plunged into the hell of distrust. Up to 68% of respondents do not trust the media, refuting fake news is a waste of time
Bratislava Policy Institute analysed the opinions of Slovak Facebook users. 83.9% of respondents said they look for groups that are targeted at sharing leisure activities. People are losing trust not only in real life, but also in the online space. This summer, the Bratislava Policy Institute analysed the opinions of Slovak Facebook users. The survey was launched in early June 2021 through the agency 2Muse, which conducted expert fact-finding on a template of 1,214 respondents. As they stated, “The research focused on the opinions, attitudes and motivations of Slovaks and Slovene women to be part of their own social bubbles and Facebook groups. Overall, up to 36.5% of Slovaks and Slovene women declared their membership in more than 10 Facebook groups of various kinds.”
