Slovak experience with neoliberalism INESS, Penta and others
For analysts of financial institutions, the interests and funding are more or less immediately clear; it is worse with analysts of various think tanks, whose funding is rarely clear. Among the most quoted think tanks in Slovakia, which are INEKO, INESS, M.E.S.A. 10, F. A. Hayek, only INEKO regularly publishes its funding73. The funding of the others is shrouded in secrecy, which is sometimes revealed, as in the case of INESS, where it has been discovered that some of their projects are financed by the financial group PENTA and the Republican Union of Employers74, while a partner of PENTA was for years the director of INESS.
