Slovaks have a problem with difference in any form, says autistic man’s sister
Abroad his otherness is accepted, in Slovakia he has experienced unpleasant situations. Lucia Vosátková, autistic Lukáš’s sister, cannot imagine another brother. She has come to terms with his disability thanks to her parents. “I want to die later than my brother. Peacefully even the day after him, because I know he needs me,” says Lucia Vosátková, sister of the now adult autistic Lukáš. Thanks to her parents’ initiative, she never took her brother with a disability as a burden, quite the opposite. She has been travelling the world with him for years and can’t imagine it being any other way.
