The national treasure remains a torso, quarrels over it continue
There are more and more question marks around the national treasure of the Slovak Republic. The National Treasure was originally worth about 30 million Slovak crowns (roughly one million euros, note: ed.), of which about seven million crowns were gold and artworks – the metal and pictorial part of the treasure. The collection was announced in 1993 on the occasion of the establishment of the Slovak Republic.
