A legend among socialist buses. Škoda 706 RTO stood out not only with its design
It would be hard to find a more famous bus in Czechoslovak history. The Škoda 706 RTO replaced the post-war 706 RO and for many years became an integral part of the fleets of most cities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Moreover, it was no unsightly box, on the contrary, the RTO was one of the best-looking vehicles produced by the Czechoslovak car industry during the socialist era.

The successor to the famous Skoda RTO. Karosa Š 11 came with an unusual body design
Replacing the Škoda 706 RTO buses was no easy task. They may not have been the most modern machines in terms of design, but they stood out for their robustness, reliability and, last but not least, their very good body design. The Karosa Š 11 attempted to build on the RTO, bringing a number of technical innovations and once again not offensive in appearance.
