Police are investigating the behaviour of the officers (Lipník nad Bečvou) who kicked the man who was lying down. One of them even stepped on his head. The authenticity of the video from the Internet was confirmed by the head of the city police. “What took place is wrong. The intervention of the police officer was not according to the rules, it is a regrettable situation. A failure of an individual. Frankly, I’m annoyed myself, to put it politely,” Miloslav Přikryl, the mayor of Lipník nad Bečvou (nez. for STAN), under whom the municipal police fall, told Seznam Zprávy.
