Who, when, where and with whom. Bartoš’s ministry is preparing a central register of residents with access for the authorities
The new database of hotel and guesthouse guests could be consulted by people from several public institutions, from the tax authorities to the Ministry of Regional Development. The latter plans to launch the register next year. It refers to a European regulation, which, however, does not mandate the storage of sensitive data. The Data Protection Authority could have commented on the proposal but did not.
