Daily Bus claimed to the Department of Transport that its bus carried 188 passengers. The bus had a capacity for only 55 passengers. It was a routine check at the time. In March 2020, officials from the Hradec Kralove Region were checking whether bus operators operating long-distance routes were carrying passengers within the region. They are forbidden to do so because the region orders such services within its territory from selected companies that it subsidises. During the inspection, they counted 15 passengers on the bus of Karel Mudroch’s Daily Bus company.
