Elon Musk opens Pandora’s box. He’s starting to reinstate previously blocked accounts
One of Elon Musk’s key promises after taking control of Twitter was to loosen the reins on alleged censorship. The social network’s interim CEO announced the reinstatement of three previously blocked profiles. Namely, psychologist and “darling of the alt-right” Jordan Peterson, comedian Kathy Griffin and satirical website The Babylon Bee. Peterson was blocked for a disrespectful tweet about transgender actor Elliot Page (formerly actress Ellen Page), while The Babylon Bee made comments about Rachel Levine, a doctor who transitioned in 2011.
