Three top-notch snails side by side: The Skoda 120 GLS was supposed to be a transitional solution, but the driver was enchanted
When the time of the legendary Skoda 100 (and its more powerful 110 version) came to an end, the edgier and more modern 105 and 120 models were introduced. And it was the top version, the 120 GLS, that I had the opportunity to test in three versions. The sad seventies had turned into their second half and the old Skoda 100 and its more powerful 110 version deserved to be replaced. This came in August 1976 (it was not presented to the public until September at the Engineering Fair in Brno) – the new, and according to the trends of the time, rather angular Škoda 105 and 120 based on the Škoda 727 prototype.
